AVAILABILITY
SHORT BREAKS
- Short breaks will be available during the following dates:
- 1st January 2026 until 5th June 2026
- 25th July 2026 until 28th August 2026
- 3rd October 2026 until 4th June 2027
- During these times there is no set start day and The Black Barn is available for short breaks of 2+ nights. Arrival time is 2pm and departure time is 10am. The rate is a percentage of the weekly charge as follows: 2 nights 50%, 3 nights 60%, 4 nights 70%, 5 nights 80% and 6 nights 90%. Stays of more than 7 nights will be charged as follows: 8 nights 120%, 9 nights 140%, 10 nights 160%, 11 nights 170%, 12 nights 180% and 13 nights 190%.
WEEKLY BOOKINGS
- Week-only bookings will operate during the following dates:
- 6th June 2026 until 24th July 2026
- 29th August 2026 to 2nd October 2026
- During these times The Black Barn will only be available to book by the week from 2pm Saturday to 10am on the following Saturday (we can be flexible on this for late availability bookings so please contact us if you want a shorter stay and your dates are showing as available)
CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR BOOKINGS
- Stays of 2 or more nights which include either 25th or 31st December will be charged at the full Christmas rate of £825. If a stay of more than 7 nights is required over the Christmas period, please contact us for a price.
- A stay which finishes on or before 23rd December will be charged at the weekly rate of £495 or a percentage of that as above. No booking can end on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.
- A stay of 2 or more nights between Christmas and New Year (which does not include either Christmas night or the night of New Year’s Eve) will be charged at a percentage of the peak rate price which for 2026 is £725.
INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
- Prices shown include all utilities (including EV car charger), linen, towels (not beach towels), logs for the woodburner (if needed) and essentials eg dishwasher tabs, toilet roll, kitchen roll etc
- Whilst dogs are welcome at The Black Barn we do charge a single £25 supplement for additional cleaning and we ask that they are not allowed to go into the bedroom or up on the furniture. We can only accept a maximum of 2 dogs per booking (cleaning supplement is not on a per dog basis but per booking).
